Humans

As Riders we will influence our Horses way of going in many different ways. A rider who has physical problems will undoubtably affect how their horse moves. A horse cannot be expected to perform to the best of its ability if its rider is physically limited by stiffness, weakness, tiredness or pain.

It is the role of the Physiotherpist to determine the cause of the problem and address the imbalance, thereby improving and optimising rider suppleness and strength. By addressing Rider problems we can therefore prevent, or at least minimise, movement dysfunction, problems and soreness in the horse.
